Funeral Costs
Frequent enquiries often start with
'How much does a funeral cost?'
We are able to answer all enquiries with an appropriate figure, but only after determining where, when and what type of service you require.
Below are itemised most charges that apply locally. Our company charges are fixed. However some disbursements (third party charges) can vary enormously.
For example, where a burial takes place, the burial fee may vary by anything in the region of £1,000 or more.
Cremation fees may vary by around £500.
These are just two variants; other options may be less extreme but perhaps still signigicant
We welcome all enquiries, without any obligation and we will very quickly be able to determine for you the cost relating to your enquiry.
The charge list may appear, at first glance, a little daunting. It is not intended to be, but is intended to itemise the cost of the many, many facets that need to be considered when planning a funeral.
If the cost of the funeral is likely to cause financial problems that please let us know as soon as possible. This aspect will be treated, as with all matters, in the strictest confidence.
Should you need government financial assistance then Job Centre Plus will, in the first instance, deal with your enquiry. Eligibility will vary according to your personal circumstances.
